AiMTT and TU Delft have developed six MSc thesis projects that offer students an excellent opportunity to work on real-life traffic challenges using cutting-edge AI techniques. Two of the projects include an internship at Siemens Mobility in Zoetermeer.
The six MSc thesis projects cover topics such as Active Inference, Long Short-Term Memory models, Graph Neural Networks, and Decentralised Control with Intelligent Agents. All projects address real-life traffic challenges. Two of them—‘Where Should a City Measure?’ and ‘How Busy Is the City?’—even include a real-world testbed.
As part of these recently added projects, Siemens Mobility will deploy CCTV and stereoscopic counting sensors at five locations in Amsterdam Zuidoost. The sensors will be used to monitor traffic flows around the Johan Cruijff Arena for the City of Amsterdam and its safety partners.
More information
The six MSc thesis projects are open to TU Delft students. Students from other universities who are interested in one of the projects can contact AiMTT to discuss the possibilities.
All information about the projects can be found on the special ‘Get Involved’ page.
