Our first AiMTT Learning Module, Crowd Management During Events, now includes several Python notebooks that can be run in Google Colab. These notebooks allow students, data scientists and crowd managers to explore the concepts and techniques presented in the video course in greater depth.
The learning module includes 19 videos, in which experts from academia and industry explain how AI and data can help improve crowd management during large-scale events. The new Python notebooks add a practical dimension to the course, allowing learners to experiment with data and gain a deeper understanding of the concepts discussed in the videos.
Currently, notebooks are available for the topics Level-of-Service Concept (2.2), Visualisation (2.3), Time Series Forecasting: Introduction (3.3.2), Time Series Forecasting: Advanced (3.3.3), and Evaluation During the Event (3.4).
By combining expert-led video content with hands-on Python notebooks, AiMTT offers a practical and innovative approach to learning about AI in mobility — connecting theory, data and real-world applications.
